Winemaker comments:

Platinum straw yellow/green in color, this wine showcases the freshness of the vintage with aromas of white peach, nectarine, lemon curd, dark honey, and oyster shells. A lower-than-average crop adds richness and phenolic heft, giving a glossy mouthfeel that wraps the minerality in a warm hug of guava, yellow grapefruit, and orange oil. Non-fruit notes include petrichor, Smarties, and freshly mown grass. Ten percent new French oak adds texture and aromatic nuances of white flowers and honeycomb. A complex Sauvignon Blanc that speaks to the old-world wines of Sancerre.
